We are a diversified group of individuals from every walk of life. Our group is striving to be the safest and most unified American Legion Riders group in the area. It is also our goal to support Post 42 and also make Post 42 an even more desirable post to join. We want to get involved with other Legion activities and unite us as a whole to make our Legion stand out from other Legions
We will support our local community and local causes
The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts.
They can be found participating in parades, partaking in motorcycle events, and supporting the communities that they live, work, and play in.
Members of the ALR come from the Legion, Auxiliary and Sons members.
First of all, you must be a member in good standing in the Legion. To be a full member, you must also own a motorcycle of at least 350cc’s and be the registered owner. Spouses of a full member can also join. You can also become a supporter of the Riders. This means that you are a member of the Legion but do not own a motorcycle. A supporter can help us, but is not able to vote. A supporter can also wear the official Legion ALR logo and the back patch as long as they also wear the Supporter patch.
Our dues are $1.00 per month
Membership applications are available in the lounge or can be obtained from an elected official.
We meet the last Sunday of the month at 6 pm.
The American Legion Riders are not an M/C and do not practice M/C rules and regulations. The American Legion Riders are family-oriented, just as is our parent organization, the American Legion.
